Chomp (chomp.town) is a pre-launch website for a platform connecting food trucks, venues, and customers. This policy explains what information this website collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. We've kept it in plain language on purpose.
Waitlist signups. When you join our waitlist, we collect your email address, the type of business you represent if you tell us (venue, food truck, or customer), and which page of our site you signed up from.
Usage and analytics data. Like most websites, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site. This includes pages visited, how you arrived here (for example, a search engine or a shared link), general device and browser information, approximate location (city level), and interactions such as scrolling and clicks. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. This data is aggregated and does not identify you by name.
We do not collect payment information, precise location, or any sensitive personal information through this website.
We use the information we collect to:
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
We rely on a small number of service providers to operate this site, and your data is processed by them on our behalf:
The cookies on this site come from Google Analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or opt out of Google Analytics entirely with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. The site works fine without cookies.
Every email we send includes an unsubscribe option. You can also ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).
We keep waitlist information until you ask us to remove it or it is no longer needed for the purpose you provided it. Analytics data is retained according to our Google Analytics settings and Google's standard retention periods.
You can request a copy of the information we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing support@chomp.town. We'll respond as quickly as we can, typically within 30 days.
This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
If our practices change — for example, when the Chomp app launches — we will update this page and revise the effective date below. Meaningful changes will be noted on this page.
Chomp is operated by Chomp Tech, LLC. Questions about this policy or your data: support@chomp.town.
